Greg Harper

Mr. Harper is a seasoned Senior Executive with more than 25 years of demonstrated proficiencies in leading business development within large and small domestic and multi-national organizations. He has led companies and divisions of companies through start-ups, growth stages, turnarounds and crisis situations directly through positions of CIO, COO and Senior Vice President. Further Mr. Harper has consulted to a variety of entrepreneurial organizations, mentored senior executives and boards of directors in leadership across functional areas of a wide spectrum of organizations. With an extensive background in investment management, corporate finance, operations and administration, he is adept in developing strategic plans and directing their effective execution to achieve "best of breed" in providing the basis to advise and lead businesses in areas of capital management, revenue growth and profitability. Launching new business initiatives, managing change / restructuring / reengineering, or through managing crisis these are all areas where Mr. Harper has consulted to businesses. Mr. Harper actively holds executive and board positions in selected for profit and not for profit organizations and is an active member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute.

Katie Mills

As Senior Executive and CFO, with more than twenty-five years international experience, Katie Mills has extensive expertise in structuring, planning and managing all aspects of corporate finance and executive leadership. She navigates Finance, Information Technology and Human Resources teams through difficult transitions to deliver service excellence. Katie communicates a compelling vision of an organization’s strategy that makes adapting to change possible and even desirable. She improves company, team and individual performance through organizational change initiatives, and as a key business partner working closely with the President, Board of Directors, Senior Executives and Staff. Katie delivers dynamic, client-focused solutions, regardless of industry, size, type of organization or complexity of issues. Katie has been an active member of FEI Canada, as a Director on the London Chapter’s Executive Committee from 2002 - 2006, and as a member of both the program committee for the 2006 FEI North America Conference, and the organizing committee for the 2008 Small-to-Medium Enterprise one-day conference. In 2008, Katie joined the Joint FEIC and Accounting Standards Board Sub-Committee (Private Company Committee), formed to assess the impact and reasonableness of the proposed International Financial Reporting Standards on private companies. Katie holds a post-graduate Diploma in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, and successfully completed the CPA exam under the auspices of the State of Oregon. Katie completed the Executive Strategy Program, Queen’s University and Executive Leadership Program, Ivey School of Business.

Ann Vautour

Ann Vautour has worked in leadership positions with government and municipal agencies for more than 20 years making her current role as a business consultant more real. After graduating from the University of Alberta, she developed and directed a variety of departments and projects at major teaching hospitals in Vancouver and Halifax before starting her private practice. She authored "The Career Portfolio: A Guided Sample", used by Dalhousie University's Counselling Services. Ann guest lectured at universities on the east and west coasts of Canada. In her corporate work, her experience and knowledge in working with teams provides critical insight into organizational success. A graduate of the Negotiation and Conflict Management Program, Dalhousie University Law School, Ann has created a mediation case used as a teaching tool in this same program. In both her leadership roles in public health care and private practice, Ann has helped groups remove barriers to innovative thinking while improving job satisfaction and performance. She has extensive experience in adult education and small group process, and is an Affiliate and Trainer for PassionWorks! (a system that leaders, teams and individuals use to create and sustain passion in their current work and workplace), Think on Your Feet ( a globally acclaimed workshop that actually trains you to think on your feet), Master Trainer for the Province of Nova Scotia in the area of Volunteer Management and Motivation. Ann is a certified Neuro-linguistic Practitioner, Negotiation and Conflict management Specialist and is qualified to administer the Myers Briggs Personality Inventory (MBTI) used in team building, conflict management and other areas of human development. Ann's effective and entertaining delivery style has been her trademark in workshops and mediations, earning her great respect from clients and colleagues.

Brian Shaw

Brian Shaw has over 30 years experience as a Senior Executive within both Canadian and Multi-National financial service providers. Mr. Shaw has dedicated his time within the financial services sector in the structuring and marketing of various financial product strategies geared at smaller to medium sized business and their owners. With his extensive expertise, Mr. Shaw has developed a principal focus in analyzing company’s needs and benefit structures. This ranges from providing employees’ plans to the specific business owners themselves with the most cost effective benefit solution and tax savings outcomes. This is achievable through benefit packages and other structured financial products that go beyond the norm and focus on with the client’s objectives to meet and maximize personal retirement and estate goals. Such things as key man insurance, funding options and payouts using capital dividend accounts as well as owners’ Individual Pension Plans are all means where Mr. Shaw’s expertise demonstrates high value to every business and their owners both today and for their future.
